Notice- A Head-on Collision Between The Police And Demonstrators Could Spark Series Of Chaos

The inspector general of police, George Akuffo Dampare has announced that all demonstrators should demonstrate through the right procedures. From what we have gathered from the police department, there is a necessity on the path of demonstrators and police men in playing their roles as citizens of this country. Dampare has announced that demonstrators must ensure that they inform the police on their intentions and the police will be available to protect them. However, a report being gathered from the Ghana police service says otherwise. A group of individuals who have decided to take the government on are conducting some demonstrations which might cause series of chaos.

As we all know, demonstrations that have been intense in this country have led to the loss of human lives. For a country as peaceful as Ghana, the least we want is chaos and the kind of killings we see in other countries. Not to say people must be quiet, but the demonstrations, if should be in the form described the police police will cause more harm than good and that is why we must create awareness prior to the upcoming event. The police have released an official press a few hours ago and this press from the police administration reveals that a group of individuals with a few perosns like Captain Smart and Oliver Barker with four others spearheading the event will lead demonstrators.

The demonstrations which will have both demonstrators and the alleged private security men armed and will be directed at the GBC house in Accra. And this will be done in their quest to have access to the media station and publicly speak to the nation. For many people who have reacted to this, it is a precursor of many issues and even maybe a precursor of a coup D’etat and that is something we don’t want for this country. When these things happen, bad things happen. Hence a head-on collision between the police force and these demonstrators if armed will be a day to remember for the sadness it might bring because of the reaction of the frustrated demonstrators and burdened police force.
