No one is above the law in this country and for that matter, we expect no one to think they will go scot-free if they break the law. There is no biasness in the law system of Ghana and so whenever doing something, it is very important that you consider the consequences your actions are going to bring in the near future.
A man in military uniform, after hitting the car of a civilian instead of apologizing to him, and probably paying for the costs involved, decided to do otherwise. I just don’t understand why some of us tend to abuse power whenever we have the chance to hold it.
This guy got down from his car and decided to slap the civilian. Why slap me after hitting my car? I mean, if you played the reckless driving, you should take full responsibility for your recklessness. Luckily, after the alleged bad display, people around were able to take a picture of his number plate.
You should be responsible for your actions so why then slap someone just because you think you are a soldier, and have the power to do anything in the country? Well, this doesn’t sit well with me as well as most netizens, as they are ranting on the social media.
Serwaa Amihere, a renowned Ghanaian journalist decided to post the issue on her timeline and the reactions being generated is just overwhelming. I do hope the Ghana Police makes an intervention as soon as possible. No one is above the law!!!
