Two young lovers were on Monday 31st May 2022 were given 20 lashes each after their sex video was leaked on social media.
The two, a tricycle driver and a ticket seller at the Wa Market were captured engaging in sexual affairs after a video was leaked.
A 22 year old lady at the center of the scandal allegedly leaked the video on social media on Sunday 30th May 2022 and it went viral.
The two were summoned to the Wa Naa Palace and were given 20 lashes each as punishment for the immoral act they engaged.
The Wa Naa ordered for the two to be published at his Palace after they appeared before the Chief Palace.
The two were supposed to receive 100 lashes each, but was reduced to 20 each instead.
A by-law was in acted in the Wa traditional area to curb the incidence of sex videos in the area after the act became rampant in the area.
