There are some African children who have taken their parents as their friends. This normally occurs when the parents are lenient and friendly with their children. Some African parents also control their children with strict rules. As a result of this, most children are afraid to get closer to them and tell them their problems.
The young girl in your picture has been recorded on camera playing with her father and many social media users after coming across this video couldn’t keep quiet over it. Watching the video, you can see the father sitting somewhere minding his own business. However, the daughter decided to play with him as if he is her boyfriend.
The young girl was overheard in the video saying, “This is my sweet daddy. He is the love of my life. He is my world and he is very handsome”. The father told the girl to stop what she is saying but she was still saying those sweet words. The father hits her with a cane thinking that the girl will stop but she didn’t.
The girl then said this in the typical Twi language, “If you beat me I will call the police and they will come and arrest you”. The father was after this seen feeling shy as he covered his face. However, the girl was still disturbing her father by calling him names which suggests that he is her boyfriend.
Some social media users after watching the video said that the father is so sweet. Others said that the father is thinking about how to get money to take care of the family but the young girl is disturbing his peace.
