Ghanaian gospel musician and evangelist, Diana Asamoah has said that she is making efforts to correct the ‘wrong’ perception she implanted in people before she started slaying for Christ.

A few years ago, Diana Asamoah in a series of interviews condemned the use of makeup, wearing of wigs, plaiting of the hair, revealing of hair in the house of God, and some outfits worn by most women. She described those activities as “worldly” and not acceptable in the sight of God.

It appears the Gospel artist has made a swift U-turn and has been seen practicing what she preached against some years back.

Reacting to her new style of dressing on a discussion panel on United yesterday May 28th, Diana Asamoah says she is using her current lifestyle to clear the perception she might have put in the minds of people about what ‘Godly’ dressing is.

“It is about growth in Christ Jesus. We condemned makeup and other things we thought as worldly but now we have seen the light and realized that being Godly is more about your deeds and about your looks. I’m correcting the wrong perception about being Chrisitan I planted into people with my current look”, she told the other panel guest in the studios of UTV.
