Many people wondered why this 11 years old boy was spotted weeping uncontrollably on the Education Minister Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum and the GES Boss for their intervention. After several enquiries, details emerged that he has been kicked out of a school based sports tournament simply because he is fat. His body size was reportedly higher than the expected weighing figure for basic school footballers.

Due to what was done to the young boy he came on social media to weep and table out his grievances.

According to his teacher, he haven’t seen in any part of the world where players are put on scale to weigh them before they play. That means, the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service should review this policy. Because, it’s highly unfair for this young man to train for several weeks and get kicked out of the school football team due to his weight.

Well, we hope that the Education Minister and the Ghana Education Service listens to the cry of the young man.
