Lawyer Maurice has narrated a painful ordeal of how a police officer sexually molested a lady. While speaking on a Kofi Adomah Nwanwanii show, Maurice Ampaw threatened that he will storm the police headquarters today to make a case for the lady. According to the lawyer some police men in Ghana are taking their jobs for granted and abusing ordinary Ghanaians.
Maurice Ampaw narrated that the victim is a social media friend to the police man in question. She visited Accra from Kumasi and the police man asked her to visit him at Kasoa. She visited and was compelled by him to stay for the night because it was late. The police man then took advantage and slept with her despite her protests. The lady has been to several police stations to report, the Police Headquarters but she has been persuaded by many police personnel to drop the case because they can’t prosecute their own.
According to Maurice Ampaw the lady appealed to him for help and he will make sure the lady gets justice. He noted that he will appeal to the Director of CID and the Director at the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU). He called on Dampare, the IGP to be ready as he gets ready to take the police man involved head to head.
