The much anticipated squad list for the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers and the 4-Nation tournament in Japan has finally been released.
The squad is indeed a very promising one. New professional players from both the local league and foreign leagues have been included in the latest squad.
Local players such as Daniel Afriyie Hearts of Oak forward and Augustine Okrah of Becham United have received their first call to the Ghana National team the Black Stars of Ghana.

And most importantly, Club Brugge right back or defender Dennis Odoi has been called back again into the squad after impressing the technical team and the whole country when he made his first appearance in the 2022 World Cup playoffs.

The 33 man squad also included Ghana’s superstars Andre Ayew and Mubarak Wakaso. But the main talisman Thomas Partey was excluded in the squad. Below is the full 33 players that were called to play in the 2023 AFCON Qualifiers and the Nation tournament.
