Not long ago, the minority caucus in parliament unexpectedly accused the incumbent government especially the Education Ministry of running away from accountability relating to the Ghc 1.2 million training program.
With respect to this, the Education Ministry has finally come out to set the records straight aside refuting allegations of bribery and corruption in the Ghc 1.2 million teacher’s training program brouhaha as claimed by the members of the largest opposition party, NDC.
“The World Bank has not written to the Ghana Education Service or to any of the agencies under the Ministry to confirm the achievement of results. Evidence of teachers trained is available on the NTC teacher training platform on the KA Technology platforms”, the Education Ministry, Dr. Adutwum emphatically revealed in a recent statement issued on his behalf by the spokesperson for the Ministry, Kwesi Kwarteng.
