Talented Ghanaian rapper, Bryan Kwaku Mensah, widely known as Bryan The Mensah has stated that he deserved every nomination he got at the 3Music Awards and the Vodafone Ghana Awards.

Speaking with NY DJ on BTM Afrika, Bryan The Mensah stated that he had put in the work and dedicated himself to his craft, hence he deserved the nominations he bagged at the top two award schemes in Ghana.
He mentioned that he believes such recognitions are part of the journey as a musician, hence he is appreciative of the nominations he got on these award schemes.
Bryan The Mensah also said that he was not disappointed when he lost the two awards to other musicians but he is forever gratified by the recognition the platforms gave him through their nominations.
However, he said that he does not rate any award scheme above another award scheme because it is all about recognition and hard work.

In other news, sensational Ghanaian drill crooner, Ishmail Mohammed Sherif, widely known as Black Sherif has reacted to the assertions made by the ace reggae musician, Blakk Rasta that he is just a lucky artiste and his songs sound similar.
It would be recalled that Blakk Rasta during an interview stated that he has listened to just two songs of Black Sherif and they sound similar. He said that if Black Sherif is not careful and perhaps twists his style of music a little bit, he would be tagged as a one-way artiste.
He also mentioned that the young talent has a certain grace working upon his life, hence the reason why he makes waves with his songs. Blakk Rasta said that there are a lot of musicians who have released better songs than “Kwaku The Traveler”, thus Black Sherif is very lucky.
In response to this, Black Sherif stated that he has been doing music for a long time and has encountered a lot of experiences in his life before he rose to prominence, hence the assertions made by Blakk Rasta about him being lucky hold no substance.
Black Sherif also stated that he knows the tunes of his tapes and can boldly attest to the fact that his sounds are not similar as stated earlier by Blakk Rasta.
