Paul Adom Otchere has waded into the brouhaha regarding the last testament of the late general secretary of the New Patriotic Party. The late Kwabena Owusu Afriyie has received so much attention even after his death because of the massive properties he willed to his family. Interestingly, the will had parcels of land of the Achimota Forest.
On Good Evening Ghana, Paul Adom Otchere was of the view that Sir John did a lot of work both abroad and in Ghana and amassed a lot of wealth. He explained that people have questions about how Sir John acquired his wealth but what people are forgetting is that the man was almost 70 years and had worked all his life and so deserved so much.
Paul raised questions about young men in their 20s owning big houses and properties and why no one is talking but rather choosing to attack a man who had lived a good life and passed on. Paul Adom called on Ghanaians to end the conversation on the Achimota land portions in Sir John’s will because the Lands Ministry has declared the acquisitions null.
