Bruno Miguel Borges Fernandes is a Portuguese professional footballer who currently plays for Manchester United in the Premier League and for the Portugal national team. Fernandes is noted for his goal-scoring ability, playmaking ability, leadership, penalty-taking ability, and work ethic.
Fernandes, who was born in Maia, Porto, began his career in the Italian Serie B with Novara before moving to Udinese in 2013 and then Sampdoria three years later. He joined Sporting CP in 2017 after five years in Italy, where he was named club captain.
