Matthew 1:21-23
[21]And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
[22]Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
[23]Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
I believe Good News is a report that God has done something he has promised to do. Good news is the Person of Jesus Christ.
It was good news when the three wise men saw that the King of the Jews’ star that had been fortold in prophecy had appeared in the east(Matthew 2:2). God sent Angel Gabriel to deliver a message to Mary that she was chosen to conceive and bring forth the Saviour of the world(Luke 1:31). Jesus was born in a manger to deliver the world from sin, sickness, poverty, death and all its evil associates. Jesus is Good News. Halleluyah!
God hears us when we pray according to his will. Take a break now and pray with seriousness.
1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.
●Heavenly Father thank you for bringing Good News into my life through Jesus Christ. You are faithful indeed! Thank you that I am healed, saved and delivered by the blood of Jesus. I declare that am a candidate to experience your goodness everyday. Oh Lord satisfy my soul with good news concerning my health, finances, career, academics and every other area of my life throughout the days of my life here on earth in the name of Jesus. AMEN!
