The National Teaching Council (NTC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MoE), Ghana Education Service (GES), and UNICEF, has arranged an online course for all teachers to earn 15 CPD points in order to renew their licenses.
According to NTC, this is a two-week training aimed at primary school teachers (BS1 to BS6), as well as headteachers and School Improvement Support Officers (SISOs). It also offers strategies for improving learners’ learning outcomes, particularly in Math and English.
The course, which focuses on differentiated learning, its relevance, and its application in teaching and learning, is divided into six (6) lessons by the Ghana Education Service and the National Teaching Council, with UNICEF and IPA assistance.
Each of the six (6) lessons requires a maximum of one hour per day from the teacher.
