Coded believes that he was misinterpreted when he claimed that Shatta Wale was the reason for the group’s breakup.
According to Coded, they chose to produce solo projects as a group because Shatta Wale was dropping hit after hit.
Captain Planet, though, disagreed, saying in a tweet that it was “laughable to say the least.” Nevertheless, in an interview with Accra-based Utv, Coded refuted the viral claims that the group separated due of Shatta Wale.

Recall that Captain Planet slammed Coded his colleague and former member of the 4×4 for spewing what he termed as ‘rubbish’ and false propaganda.
In a recent interview, he talked about how Shatta Wale caused panic in their camp back in the days.
He stated that Wale was dropping hit songs all the time and being in the spotlight. Coded further added that to keep up with the competition the SM boss subtly offered, they decided to split so they can produce individual projects.
He said the idea was for them to release hit songs individually but still sustain the core relevance of the group and reunite later.
