Fixthecountry Conveynor Oliver Barker-Vormawor has alleged that Albert Donkor had so many friends in the police in the town so he recognized the robbers as Police Officers.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Sunday, 22nd May 2022 he wrote;
“This is a picture of Albert Donkor (in red), eating and drinking with the Police in Nkoranza South.Â
The guy had so many friends in the Police in the town; and attends many events with them. So when he said he recognized the Robbers as police officers from the town. He knew what he was talking about.Â
He was abducted from his bed while sleeping and shot dead by criminals we have employed as our police force. This is cold blooded murder of a whistle blower. Nothing else.”
The comments of Oliver Barker comes as a background to Albert Donkor, a 27 year old footballer and a digital Tv installer who died under a mysterious circumstances in Nkoranza.
The late Donkor is reported to have been picked up from his Nkoranza South home by armed officers at 2:00am on April 24, 2022 in an unregistered vehicle on an anti-armed robbery operation.
Later Police sources told the family that Donkor was hit by a bullet by a supposed member of an armed robbery gang when the victim was leading them to other accomplices.
But the family has accuse the Police of masterminding the killing of an innocent man adding that Albert may have been targeted after he chanced on a robbery operation involving some police officers. Many people has shared their thoughts and Oliver Baker’s allegations comes as a background to this story.
