We Have Already Lost A Vote, The NPP Will Surely Win- Muntaka Finally Reveals

The Minority Chief Whip, Honorable Muntaka Mubarak Mohammed, who doubles as the Member of Parliament for the Asawaase constituency, has broken his silence on the public backlashes he has been receiving from Ghanaians, especially from his own NDC. Muntaka suddenly revealed how the National Democratic Congress members at Parliament are going to suffer especially when the case about the absenteeism of Adwoa Safo, Henry Quartey, and Kennedy Agyapong is heard at the Privileges Committee.

He stated boldly that the minority side will lose hands-down when the case is brought before the committee. This was his reason.

“The privileges committee is a 31 committee. It is an extension of the NPP office. Because it is chaired by the first deputy speaker and the remaining 30 members consist of 15 NDC MPs and 15 NPP MPs. Do you know the interesting thing, Hoborable Quayson is a member of the 15 and with his issue, it is now the remaining 14 NDC MPs. So it a 16-14 argument we are going to make. The NPP will surely win because we have lost a vote”, he explained.
