A popular member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who also doubles as the deputy CEO of the Youth Employment Agency, Akosua Manu has boldly revealed most Ghanaians have lost trust in the Ghana Police Service and that’s unfortunate. She sent a bold message to Dr. Dampare.
While reacting to the Nkoranza shooting saga where it is alleged that one Ghanaian has lost his life because the Police engaged in shootings with the youth, Akosua Manu on Asaase Radio expressed her strong disappointment in the Police Service losing the trust of Ghanaians.
” On social media, you can’t believe everything but with people sharing their experiences, you can see that it’s quite endemic that the police cannot be trusted and it’s painful because I believe that their work is one of the hardest. It’s almost a thankless job because when they do the good things, they don’t get as much praise as they do when they get the bad things. The Ghana Police Service led by the Inspector General Of Police should work at winning the trust of Ghanaians.” Akosua Manu boldly revealed this on Asaase Radio.
Thanks for reading this article. Do you agree that Ghanaians have lost trust in the Ghana Police Service? Have you lost trust yourself?
Do you think Dr. Dampare had not done anything since becoming IGP and just a social media IGP?
What’s your take on the Nkoranza Shooting Saga, do you think the police killed the guy who died??
