Check out the Asante Kotoko squad to face Berekum Chelsea in their GPL game on Sunday in Kumasi

Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Nartey Ogum has announced a 20-man squad for their game with Berekum Chelsea on Sunday.

The Porcupines will host Chelsea in a Ghana Premier League, GPL game at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi in a Matchday 30 fixture.

And wanting the three points to aid in their title aspirations, Coach Ogum is going with a mindset of collecting the three points against the Birbires.

The gaffer has named a strong squad for this fixture and, it includes their returning captain Ismael Abdul Ganiyu who has been out with an injury for a month.

Also in the squad is Richmond Lamptey who has had a 30-month ban imposed on him by the Ghana Football Association GFA for his supposed supposed involvement in the match fixing scandal between AshantiGold SC and Inter Allies last season when he was playing for the later.

Asante Kotoko will be seeking to register their 17th win of the campaign as they chase a first GPL crown in eight years.

They will be favourites to win this fixture in their penultimate home game of the season against a Berekum Chelsea side that has not impressed on their travels this season.
