The host of “Abranaa so”, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah on his television program today compared the prices of commodities from John Dramani Mahama’s era (2016) to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s current state (2022) and the differences as prices have gone up were very huge.
According to Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah, During John Dramani Mahama’s tenure in office, prices of goods were low and if there is any increment, he increases it a little but Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo whose tenure is not even over as this is his second term has increased the prices very high to the extent that traders can no longer earn profits from their businesses anymore.
Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah said Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has neither increased one nor two goods but rather all the goods in Ghana and the difference between the increment are huge and unbearable.
This simply means Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo never came to govern the country but rather came to rob the nation’s money because despite how expensive the goods are, he is still increasing them.
