Hebrews 8:12. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”
Jesus paid for the consequences of sins and made forgiveness readily available to all men to be able to have seamless unhindered fellowship with the Father again. Halleluyah!
The judgment or the penalty for sin which is death has been fully paid for by Jesus Christ(Isaiah 53:5). So anyone who believes in Him shall not be judged for sin again (John 5:24). The Lord said through the Prophet Jeremiah that “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more(Jeremiah 31:34). The fact that God said he won’t remember them doesn’t mean we should continue to live in sin. It actually means that he will forgive our sins and not remember them again if we confess them to Him.
Psalms 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We cannot receive forgiveness for our sins unless we confess them before the Lord. Confession initiates the process of cleansing from all unrighteousness. David said that if I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me. If we value our relationship with the Lord and want to enjoy unbroken fellowship with Him, then we must learn to say all hidden sins which the Holy Spirit reveals to us in our private prayer to the Lord and receive cleansing from them by the blood of Jesus.
I pray that from henceforth your relationship with the Father will be sweet and free from all sin and guilt in the name of Jesus. I see your prayers receiving quick answers in the name of Jesus. Amen
