Pay National Service Personnel The Arrears Of Their Allowances – Mahama Pleads

Scores of National Service personnel somewhere in March, 2022, took to social media to lament the unpaid allowances to government, saying that the situation has made life difficult for them.

The National Service Scheme then apologised for the delays and assured to pay all outstanding arrears.

After paying for the month of January, 2022, the monthly allowances for March and April are yet to be released.

However, Former President John Dramani Mahama has pleaded with the Nana Addo led administration to pay National Service personnel the arrears of their allowances.

Mr. Mahama, who shared a photo of his National Service days on Facebook said, “I empathize with National Service personnel today. We have all passed through the scheme before. Please pay them the arrears of their allowances.”

Below is the Former President’s statement;

“Boys to Men.

I empathize with National Service personnel today. We have all passed through the scheme before. Please pay them the arrears of their allowances.”
