A prominent and popular member of Parliament for Asawase Constituency, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed has boldly exposed his fellow politicians and parliamentarians over false promises and lies.
While speaking on Kumasi-based radio station, Angel Fm, Hon. Muntaka revealed that most of the politicians in Ghana come to power on the back of false promises and lies that’s why they don’t last long in power. He revealed that they should put a stop to that because as a member of Parliament, there is little you can do on your own.
” Most of these politicians in Ghana give a lot of false promises and lies just to win power but that’s not helpful. That is the reason why most of them don’t stay in power for long. Some of these new parliamentarians come to us and tell us, wow is that how Parliament is, then I cannot obey the promises I made to my people. There are too many false promises and lies in our politics and it will be good if we stop. I have been truthful to my people, that’s why they keep voting for me.” Hon. Muntaka said this on Angel FM.
