Months later, they decided to get married, Fowaa said she used all the money she had to support her husband in buying the things they used for their marriage. After their marriage ceremony, her husband did give her any money to start up her work. Fortunately for her, a woman staying in their neighbourhood gave her a store container to work in the but her husband always collects the money she got from her work.
Some years later, the woman took back her store container and she came back to the house. The woman again said she went for a loan to start selling nails to her customers, she was not getting enough money from that business so she stopped and started selling footwear. This time too Charles collected the money she was using for her business.

According to the woman, her husband has not bought anything for her eversince she met Charles.
She went to church and her pastor told her that his husband has decided to travel abroad. She was surprised because she knows that her husband is not having money to travel. When she came back home she asked Charles about it but he denied it. She then went to inform her sister-in-law and he confessed to her that it is true. Later the man told her that it is his girlfriend who is helping him to travel abroad.
Charles also revealed to her that he will be travelling with their only child. Fowaa did not agree to allow him to go with his child. The man later told her that he will not travel again but will let his nephew to go and pay back his money. Charles came home one day with an envelope, he told her that he will move out of the house and never returned home again.
Fowaa started struggling with him and found GHC250 in his pocket but he lied to her that the money belongs to his sister. Her sister-in-law came with her brother the next morning for the money but she did not give it to her. Her sister-in-law then told her that she has to take care of their child, not his brother.
