Hearts of Oak appeal to postpone Gold Stars match rejected by the GFA.

The placing body of Hearts of Oak has been hit with a sickness bug. Most of the players have been on admission in various health institutions across the capital city. It is unknown what might have caused such an unfortunate situation. But I am sure the management of the club is working around the clock to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

The Phobians are scheduled to play Bibiani Gold Stars this weekend in their next league match. Following the emergence of this sickness bug in the playing squad, it might derail their upcoming match. According to sources, Hearts of Oak have applied to the Football Association to have their game against Gold Stars postponed but the FA has reportedly rejected their request.

Let us hope that most of the players will recover in time and be fit for the encounter. If not Samuel Boadu may be forced to field a team consisting of players from their academy side Auroras.
