4 Local Ghanaian Food you can’t Resist. Which is your favorite?

Culture is a way of life of a particular group of people and when we talk about culture, Food plays a very major role in knowing where one comes from. Food can be used to trace the cultural back ground of people that is why in this article, we going to look at some local Ghanaian food which one can’t resist as it has been part of us from infancy to date. No matter how you cherish and enjoy food from other countries you can’t say no to these foods.

1.”3to” This local food is enjoyed by most regions in Ghana irrespective of their culture, it is prepared with ripped plantain, Groundnut, and depending on how you want to enjoy it, you can add egg or tilapia. Some people refer to it as food for the gods mainly because during some festival these are the commonly used food they serve to the gods. I personally enjoy this food and it is my favorite food.

2.Fufu – One of the food which is very common in the homes of every Ghanaian, it is mostly prepared by the Akans but in this modern day every tribe has come to like the food even foreigners. It is prepared with Cassava and unripped plantain. It is one the Ghanaian local food which has gain it way to other countries and best represent Ghana.

3.”Korkoor ne Nkati3” – One of the best Local food enjoyed by many Ghanaians, Roasted Ripped plantain with Groundnut is one of the meals you will ever get in Ghana, it is easily done and very satisfying.

4.”Banku” – One of the Local Meals in Ghana which can go work either, Okro, pepper or soup. It happens to be the favorite of many Ghanaians. It is enjoyed by almost every tribe in Ghana.
