Ghana premier league side Obuasi AshantiGold has been demoted to division two by the Ghana Football Association after being find guilty of match manipulations.
According to the FA, the obuasi base team is found guilty for match manipulations in their match day 34 game against inter Allies last season.
The decision takes effect from the 2022/2023 football season according to the disciplinary committee of the Football Association.
The FA also has sanctions some football Administrators of the club who were found guilty in that match manipulations.
Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, is banned from any football relative activities for ten years and a find of GHC100,000 for finding guilty.
Chief Executive Officer, Emmanuel Frimpong has also been banned from any football activities same as head coach Thomas Duah banned for two years.
Some players of the club has also been banned for 24 month for finding themselves in the match fixing manipulations.
The FA also added the decision will take effects from 2022/2023 Football Season.
