A popular member of Parliament for Tamale North Constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress, Alhassan Suhuyini has boldly described the Agyapa deal in very simple words which have sparked a lot of controversies on social media.
Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta during a press briefing on Thursday, May 12, 2022, revealed that the Agyapa deal is still on the mind of the Akufo-Addo government and it hasn’t been thrown out completely.
While speaking on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana, Hon. Alhassan Suhuyini expressed disappointment in the finance minister and the government as a whole. He revealed that the Agyapa deal is very insensitive and insulting on the part of the Akufo-Addo government.
” You just can’t understand why the Akufo-Addo government wants to by all means sell off the future of the generations yet on born. The minority is against the Agyapa deal and we will always resist it. The deal is very insensitive and insulting on the part of the government to Ghanaians. We are not for it and will never be for it.” He boldly revealed this.
