The Ghana Police service have made known a group of police officers who were sent to the University of Ghana and other Universities In Greater Accra Region in other to gather intelligence. The post was captured on the official facebook page of Ghana Police Service.
According to the post, police officers from the mounted squadron together with some police Divisional and District Commanders took policing to some Universities In Accra. For one week, the officers visited the campuses of the University of Ghana, University of Professional Studies and the Valley View University in Accra.
The main reason why police officers visited the Universities on Horses is to gather intelligence from the various school and to have a talk with the management of the schools as far as security issues is concern. This is a prove that, IGP Dr Akuffo Dampare is still working to the expectations of Ghanaians.
