However, a male friend of hers who was into drugs decided to help her by making her smuggle drugs from Ghana to the United States for $50,000 but she was unlucky with the transaction as she found herself in police grips in the States.

She revealed that she was incarcerated for 18 months in the States but due to the reformative nature of the prison system in the States, she managed to utilize that opportunity to renew her mindset by learning a lot and losing so much weight.

Abena Korkor revealed that she never swallowed the cocaine as presumed by many but the drugs were in a suitcase. She also revealed that the US authorities select some people who will be made to sail through with the drugs but will deliberately just to make the system balance.

Her parents and her boyfriend stick with her throughout the journey but when she returned to Ghana, her boyfriend came to her house to end the relationship with her and this she claims made her very devastated.
