Haruna Iddrisu has called out the Supreme Court after he alleged that they, the minority have fresh evidences to submit before court. Haruna Iddrisu was concerned about how the votes went in favor of the new patriotic party in parliament and how they, the Npp managed to have their way through the passing of the bill when the numbers did not correlate earlier. According to Haruna Iddrisu, the votes should have been a 136 loss for the Ndc minority caucuses whiles the new patriotic party win at a 137. But this would have happened because even though the Ndc have 137 in parliament and the Npp 138, they the Ndc had one of their people withheld in court and rendering him incapacitated with regards to the votes.
This would have lessened their number by 1. Whiles the Npp could have just brought in Adwoa Sarfo to rise their numbers to 137 even when the Fomena member of parliament is to vote for the Npp or not. But this did not happen, the Npp had three members of parliament unavailable and this was surprising to they, the Ndc on how the court further went ahead to announce that they have records of 266 people in the chamber but things became suspicious.
He said, even when the Ndc minority caucuses left the chamber upon their disagreement on the bill being passed, it was reported that the total number of people in the chamber was 274 and this means they hid this from us all along. This means the numbers are not correlating. The numbers are not correcting because the earlier announced number by court was lesser than that which they announced later as what they had in the chamber. These and many other proofs are what Haruna Iddrisu is ready to face the court with alongside his minority brothers. The issue of the e-levy being taken to court continues unabated and from what we are gathering from Haruna Iddrisu, the minority caucuses are now prepared more than ever. However, those in favor of the minority are still not guaranteed a 100% win.
