Reigning rapper of the year at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Awards, Joseph Gamor, widely known as Lyrical Joe has responded to comments suggesting that he did not deserve to be awarded the rapper of the year.

Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Lyrical Joe stated that the same way people presume he did not deserve the award, is the same way they concluded that he deserved it when he lost in the previous years.
According to him, he cannot be blamed for the ignorance of people for not knowing his hard work or who he even is because as far as he is concerned, he has cemented his walls firmly to grab that recognition on the platform.
LJ also said that the rap performance category only had one song that had more views than his song that got nominated in that category and that was Sarkodie’s “Rollies and Cigars”, aside from that, there is no other song in that category that could compete with his.

In other news, multiple award-winning rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, widely known as Sarkodie has taken to his social media to eulogize his Maker following some attacks launched against him by his foes.
In a tweet, the rapper made it clear that his God has always stood by him and shielded him against the woes of the enemies both in his private life and music career.
The rapper quoted from Romans 8:31 which says “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Well, it seems the Lord has finally dealt drastically with the enemies of the fine rap artiste as he glorifies his Maker on Twitter.
