A woman who goes by the name Hannah has narrated her sad story. Hannah was a house help when she met her husband, who was a herder. They got married and now have three kids together. When she was pregnant with their fourth child, a bandit attacked and killed her husband. 

Life became hard for her and the kids. Her kids dropped out of school. She began begging her husband’s friends for food and help. Her husband’s friends were good to her and always helped her with food and money, making sure they lacked nothing. 

One day, one of her late husband’s friends came to her house in their one room and asked her for a sexual favour. When she refused, he pushed her onto the bed and raped her. After the incident, Hannah wished to die, felt guilt she has cheated on her late husband. She was bitter because she was still mourning her late husband.

Her husband friend told his other friends to go and collect their own sexual favours from her. Hannah said her late husband’s friends would come and rape her one after the other in front of her four children. After that, they would leave some money on the floor.

She said one day she became tired of it and ran away with her children and rented a small house. Her children beg by the roadside sometimes, now they are out of school. She pleads with well-wishers to help her pay her children’s school fees and help her start something in order to be able to feed her children.
