The Spanish Laliga champions for the 2021 to 2022 league tournament called Real Madrid, has set the same record that, the English premier league club called Chelsea set in the UEFA champions league tournament in the year 2020 to 2021.
The UEFA champions league tournament that was played last season, was won and taken home by Chelsea FC. During the knockout stages, especially from the quarter final to the final, Chelsea football club encountered a lot of difficulties before they were able to achieve the honour, which is the trophy. In the quarter final, Chelsea FC met a top club called Parish Saint Germain and defeated the club. They also played with Real Madrid in the semi final and scored them to the finals of the UEFA champions league. In the finals, Chelsea met Manchester City and scored them 1-0.
For these same top clubs that Chelsea defeated before winning the UEFA champions league trophy, Real Madrid has also done the same thing to them. Real Madrid met Parish Saint Germain on the “round of 16” of the ongoing UEFA champions league tournaments and defeated them to the quarter final. Real Madrid also met Chelsea FC in the quarter final and scored them to the semi final. Finally, Real Madrid also met the leaders of the 2021 to 2022 English premier league tournament called Manchester City, and defeated them also to the finals.
The actual point I am making here is that, the three top European clubs that Chelsea defeated to win the 2020 to 2021 UEFA champions league trophy, are the same top clubs that Real Madrid has also defeated in the ongoing UEFA champions league tournament for 2021 to 2022. This is a record, and anyone reading this can be me witness, because it is not easy for any club to defeat these three top European clubs in the UEFA champions league.
