Consolidated Bank Ghana Honours Soldiers Who Foiled Bullion Van Attack Robbery.

In the act of discharging duty, a sense of selflessness and dedication to God and country was exhibited by soldiers when they successfully foiled a potential Bullion Van Robbery.

These soldiers have been duly rewarded and honoured when the Head of Security and Investigations, Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) – Mr Habib Sanda, led a delegation from the bank to honour a Section of Soldiers of the Army Headquarters. Mr Sanda, recounted the events during the delegation to the Army Headquarters how the soldiers exhibited professionalism and foiled the attack on one of the bank’s bullion vans, arresting the culprits and handing them over to the Ghana Police Service, on Monday, 9 May, 2022.

He further presented a Letter of Commendation to the Soldiers and an undisclosed amount of money, in appreciation for their professionalism and diligence in the execution of their duties. Through further investigations done by the Ghana Police Service revealed that the culprits have been on Police wanted list for various crimes.

Brig Gen Agyemang – Prempeh expressed appreciation for the honor done to the Soldiers, and stated that the Army will continue to provide the necessary security and protection to institutions and Ghanaians, to enable them conduct their activities in a safe and peaceful environment.
