As an accomplished Statesman, Professor Kwaku Ohene Frempong moved across the length and breadth of the whole Ghana preaching that, Sickle Cell is not a death sentence. As a Sickle Cell patient, he received many recognition of awards from the United States of America Department of Health and Human services.
Ghana has lost an icon. However, we can only express our condolences to the family. May his gentle soul continue to rest in perfect peace.
