We are not projecting Dr. Afriyie Akoto as NPP flagbearer in 2024 because he joined the Party for long time but he was born into the party through his biological father Okyeame Baffour Akoto (Founder of NLM)
Some people are projecting some party members because they’ve been with the party for a long time. For that matter, it’s their turn to be the flagbearer for NPP.
If that’s the case, then nobody should contest Dr Afriyie Akoto because he didn’t join the party but he was born into it. The DNA of Dr Afriyie Akoto is NPP through his father Okyeame Baffour Akoto. Also, there’s a difference between someone born into it and someone joining it.Â
Dr. Akoto Afriyie is the right person to succeed H.E Nana Addo Dankwa because Dr Afriyie Akoto’s impact on the party is so unique that the nation as a whole will require him as president in 2025.
