Rufftown Records signed musician, Wendy Addo, widely known as Wendy Shay gave a thrilling performance at the ongoing Vodafone Ghana Awards 2022.
The singer after her first song dedicated her second performance to the late Nigerian singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu who reportedly died as a result of domestic abuse.
Osinachi Nwachukwu who is popular for her “Ekwueme” song died on 8th April 2022. The singer was said to have died of cancer but her family denied this claim, saying she lost her life due to the domestic abuse she was subjected to by her husband, Peter Nwachukwu.
Peter Nwachukwu was then arrested as a suspect in the death of his wife and further investigations are ongoing to ascertain the accusations leveled against the suspect.
Well, Wendy Shay during her performance at the ongoing Vodafone Ghana Awards dedicated her performance to the late gospel singer as she speaks against toxic relationships.
