A 60-years-old woman known as Madam Beatrice Osei Owusu was staying with her husband in a peaceful relationship. They were blessed with four children, the woman worked hard to support her husband in catering of their children.
Years later, the husband became rich but instead of him to support his family with the money he got, he rather abandoned them about 15 years ago. It was Madam Beatrice who tried hard to raise her children to get a better future but due to the financial crisis, none of them was able to acquire a better job.
Her second son who is a taxi driver got married to his wife after he completed school, and they gave birth to their first child named Dorothy, the young girl was healthy when she was born, she was able to walk and was very active. But the young girl got convulsion at the age of 1, her parents rushed her to the hospital for treatment but she became disabled after she recovered from the illness.
According to the woman, the young girl’s mother was hit by a moving vehicle and died on the spot when she was crossing the road about a year ago. Her son who used to support the whole family with his daily earnings too has been hit by a car when he was going to buy fuel. He has been admitted at the hospital without Madam Beatrice even knowing it.
The woman revealed that due to financial difficulties, she is living in a kiosk with her 14 years old granddaughter for the past 15 years. Because of the young girl’s condition, she can’t leave her alone in the kiosk and go to work. Getting their daily meals has also become another problem for them. She is aware that her granddaughter needs medical attention but she doesn’t have money to pay for her hospital bills. She continued that she has been crying every day for God rescue her from the problem she is facing.
