Anja Ringgren Lovén is the founder of Land of Hope, an organisation that is leading the fight to save the thousands of children being accused of witchcraft. Some hours ago Anja shared photos a boy she rescued and how the little has transformed.

Hope a little boy was accused of being a witch, hope was just 2 years old. Hope was condemned and abandoned to die by starvation. When Anja heard of hope’s story she came all the way from Netherlands to rescue hope. She begged and pleaded for hope a condemned witch child to be given to her.

Hope survived and now lives with 80+ other lovely children at Land of Hope, a loving home for so-called “witch children” who have been abandoned due to fear of witchcraft. Anja says that lack of education and extreme poverty have created a widespread cultural belief that children can be witches that curse the families and villages they are born into.  

Anja shared hope’s new pictures on her Facebook account. How hope a witch child has transformed. A boy abandoned by his parents who thought he was a witch has undergone a dramatic transformation. “He was seriously malnourished and had multiple diseases”.
