Renowned Ghanaian musician, Ayigbe Edem released his TOTO song some years ago.
The song made headlines and as we speak, it is one of his biggest songs. In the song, he mentioned the name of the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.
He once met the president and made him known he used his name in the song and revisiting the moment he had with the president he revealed what transpired.
He revealed this in a recent submission during his interview on the popular Ghanaian radio station, Hitz FM.
In his submission, he said;
“When I told President Akufo-Addo that his name was in my “Toto” song, he laughed about it. Politicians are involved with everything. They don’t have a choice. Sometimes if you no like am sef, you for like am.
Almost every artist speaks about the industry with the President when they meet him. I decided to have a conversation on a different subject. We had a good conversation.”
Aside from TOTO, some of the songs Edem has released are The Story of Efo Kodjo, Nyedzilo, Kpordawoe, The One, Koene, Wicked and Bad, Ohene, Gogaga, Bakowa Bani, Angels and Demons, Zero to Hero, I Am Blessed, March, Delaila, February, Weed and Liquor, Girlfriend, Badder dan dem, Best Rapper, January, Latex, and Go Harder.
