Four Premier League (PL) games without a win from away, Manchester United are going on a trip to the American Express Stadium on Saturday, a bunter with Brighton & Hove Albion – a side who are also having problems at home (D4, L4) in their last eight outings.
In Manchester United’s 37th PL appearance, they are far from their Champions League dream by five points at the 5th place, however, the ‘Red Devils’ are keen on finishing the remaining games on a good note after Brentford’s victory last week.
Outgoing manager, Ralf Rangnick is expected to make his 27 appearances in all competitions on Saturday against Brighton & Hove Albion and is highly likely to stick to the previous lineup since the majority of first-team players are all out. Paul Pogba, Luke Shaw, Jadon Sancho, and Marcus Rashford are all out due to injury, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka is a doubt ahead of this encounter.
Probable Lineup:
David De Gea will be guiding the goal line as usual. Paired perfectly against Brighton at the heart of the defense, Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof are in contention at the heart of the defense with Alex Telles and Diogo Dalot to cover the fullbacks.
Starting from the bench against Brentford, Fred will partner with Nemanja Matic in the holding role. Bruno Fernandes, Juan Mata, and Anthony Elanga will occupy the upper part of the central midfield providing support to Cristiano Ronaldo as the head striker.
