The Chief Imam at Nkaseim in the Asutifi South District of Ahafo Region, Alhaji Usman Mohammed has advised Muslims Youths to desist from Violence and it’s related activities since it’s tarnish the image of slamic religion.
“Violence has nothing to do with Islam, those doing so in the name of Islam, doing it from their own character or what they learnt which does not related to Islamic doctoring”, those doing so should desist from it, it tarnish the image of Islam. He advised.
Speaking to media at Nkaseim during the Eid – Ul Fitr, Alhaji Usman said Islam means peace and has nothing to do with Violence and appeals to youth who engage in such act to stop.
He bemoaned how most youth in the Northern part of the Country bear Muslim names but are not Muslims and urges such people not to involve themselves in activities that will disgrace Islamic Religion.
