The Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Agormanya led by the Parish Priest, Fr. Moses Kofi Huadji on Tuesday 3rd May, 2022 Joined the Muslim community in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality to observe the Eid Prayers at Aklomuase.
The Municipal Chief Imam, Yunusa Issah in his address acknowledged the unique friendship and peaceful coexistence between the Catholic Church and the Muslim Community in the Municipality.
He further assured the Catholic Church entourage of continuous friendship and partnership in the best interest of humanity and God Almighty.
This gesture has received both applause and criticism from section of Ghanaians but the most important thing to consider is the reason why the priest had to lead his members to join the Muslims to observe the celebration.
The peaceful coexistence between Ghanaian Christians and Muslims is one thing that has helped Ghana to become one of the main peaceful countries in Africa. We hope other churches will also look and learn from this gesture.
