On Joynews, Kofi Ameyaw clashed with Elikem Koto as they discussed the economy of Ghana, Mahama’s talk at “Ghana At A Crossroad”, and the NPP’s progress.
Here’s what Kofi Ameyaw had to say:
“Mahama has outlived his usefulness to the country. He wanted to take advantage of the anxiety we are going through. I took myself from anything political to listen to someone who wants to become a leader and I didn’t get any impression.”
“He exhibited hypocrisy by painting a picture that made it look like the government is insensitive to the sufferings of the country. When you read paragraph 20 of our budget statement, it admits clearly that we are suffering; and that is what keeps the president awake at night.”
“Former President Mahama made mention of 13 points and all of it are in steady progress by the government.”
“NDC is not an alternative for Ghanaians. This political ecosystem is about credibility. The people don’t believe the former president repealed the E-levy. They don’t have what it takes to abolish any tax.”
What are your thoughts on the “Ghana At A Crossroads” presentation made by John Mahama? Is it a political talk? What are your views on Kofi Ameyaw’s words?
