A Lady Cried Out As She Shares What Happened To Her Daughter After She Was Admitted At The Hospital

A lady called Abigail from Tepa who has given birth to two children shares how her five years old died from an unknown illness. According to the woman her five-year-old daughter has been suffering from an unknown illness for almost 1 year. She fell at school and broke her hands, they applied herbal medicine to her hand till it was okay. Some months later, she got rashes all over her body.

At first she thought it was measles, her stomach and legs also got swollen, they rushed her to Bekyem Hospital hospital about two weeks ago. But the doctors didn’t find the exact illness the young girl was suffering from after the series of examinations. She was transferred to Sunyani hospital, the doctors again examined her but didn’t find anything wrong with her.The woman said she was again transferred to Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for further treatment.

The doctors at the hospital did different laboratory tests on her daughter, all her organs were functioning well but still, they did find out what her daughter was suffering from. The woman said one week after her daughter was admitted at the hospital, she was told that her daughter had die but the doctors said they should pay GHC3,200 hospital bills before her daughter’s body will be given to her. Abigail said she has spent all the money she had when her daughter fell sick.

She also sold all her Television and other things in her room and spent it on her hospital bills. Her husband went back to the find out where his daughter’s body was, he was informed that, the body has been sent to the mortuary, he asked the nurses to allow her to see the body but they told him that unless they pay the hospitals bills before they will allow him to see his daughter’s body. Abigail’s family members has tried all they can to get the money to pay the hospital bills to get the young girl’s body but still they couldn’t get any money to help Abigail.
