Africa Facts Zone made a current survey about the best universities in the whole of Africa and they came by some names. These rankings were based on the 2022 world university rankings and it was basically about academic excellence. To see the schools which placed 6th to 10th, you can click on this link.
After the list came out, many people think their universities have been cheated and, this has started a whole debate on the social media. One of the debates on the side of Ghanaians is the fact that, only one Ghanaian school made the list and that school is neither University of Ghana or KNUST. I am sure these schools were expecting at least, one of them to make the list but unfortunately, they all missed out.
University of Cape Coast is the school which stood out amongst all the Ghanaian universities. UCC is number four on the list and surprisingly, looking at the list, it is dominated by South African Universities. I wonder what they must be doing there which makes them quite exceptional.

2. Stellenbosch University, South Africa.
3. Wits University, South Africa.
4. University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
5. University of KZN, South Africa.
