Appiaste is a town located in the Western of Ghana. Few months ago, a terrible gas explosive occured in Appiatse and it became a national issue where top government officials visit the people there and provided relief. In the early hours of today 2nd May 2022, it was reported from appiatse that, a terrible accident occured of which two persons lost their life’s.
UTV reporter who was reporting live on UTV midday news edition made it clear that, a woman who was carrying her child at her back, both died died instantly as a result of the terrible accident. UTV news reporter added that, the woman was ridding bicycle on the new road constructed in Appiatse. But unfortunately, a tipper truck which was moving with a top speed crashed the woman and her child on the road.
The bicycle that the woman was ridding can be seen lying in the middle of the road broken into pieces whilst the woman and her child lies beside the bicycle.
Some of the people staying around where the incident happened, rushed to the sad scene. Some of them were crying bitterly in the video that was shown on UTV this afternoon.
