Former Ghana youth international and Asante Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed continued with his good form in the Spanish lower leagues after netting his ninth goal of the season on Sunday.
Mohammed was on target for FC Cartagena in their Spanish La Liga 2 away game against Ponferradina.
Dauda opened the scoring in the 26th minute for the visitors, but, it was not enough to hand them victory as they lost 4-2 on the day in this Matchday 38 encounter.
The Ghanaian was rated at 7.6 for the 71 minutes he spent on the field and, he enjoyed rare reviews for his troubles.
FC Cartagena’s other goal on the day was scored by another Ghanaian Richard Boateng in the 29th minute as they went down to their 18th loss of the campaign.
Boateng also lasted 71 minutes on the field of play and was rated at 7.5.
FC Cartagena are ninth on the table with 52 points as they seek to move up the table with games running out.
They will next play Leganes in a home game on Sunday where they will look to bounce back with a win on home soil.
Dauda Mohammed and Richard Boateng will both look to feature for their side as they chase their 17th win of the season.
