When the sad news kept trending, a lot of people who knows the hardworking young journalist felt that it was one of the usual untrue gossips. However Asempa FM presenter OB has confirmed the same sad and shocking news. Its very shocking because nobody expected this impromptu death.

According to him, he has received the shocking death of Nana Akwasi Mensah who was widely known in the media fraternity.

” This is a terrible loss and I’m Shattered. I just received the sad and shocking death of Nana Akwasi Mensah who was a popular sports journalist at Skyy Power FM in Takoradi. Nana Akwasi was simply one of the Western Region’s brightest prospects in journalism.” OB wrote on Facebook confirming Akwasi Mensah’s death.

It was however unclear about what actually took the life of such a promising media icon. We can only wish him a perfect rest in peace with his maker. We’ve lost an icon.
